WJAC reports that authorities have charged 36 year old Ceyon Cuffy Jr with attempting to hire a man to kill his mothers husband. Cuffy reportedly told a woman to get in touch with a man known as “Leek”, who would take $2000 to carry out the hit. Cuffy blamed his mother and stepfather for getting him removed from their home. Cuffy has been in and out of prison, the latest coming in 2022 after he served time for shooting at another person. He was kicked out by his mother, then was arrested for a parole violation, which landed him back in prison. Cuffy later tried to recant what he wrote in the letter, saying that his stepfather had nothing to do with what happened to him. He is charged with criminal solicitation of murder.
