A report in the Altoona Mirror indicates that police in Charlotte County Florida have charged 36 year old James Gainvors with killing his neighbor after shooting him during an argument. Sheriff’s officers in Charlotte County say that the shooting took place on July 5th, after the two men apparently got into another dispute. Police say that the men argued over fireworks that were shot off during a 4th of July celebration. A video camera in the neighborhood recorded the shooting. Gainvors reportedly shot Matt Hanson after Hanson got out of his car and began to taunt Gainvors to shoot him. A shot was then heard, and Hanson collapsed in his driveway. He died after he was taken to a hospital. Gainvors is charged with 2nd degree murder.
