A report by WTAJ indicates that state police in Ebensburg have charged 22 year old Trevor Zimmerman of Hollidaysburg for the sexual assault of a 14 year old girl back in January. The victim told police that Zimmerman held her down and raped her on January 28th. The victim also told police that Zimmerman handcuffed her before attacking her. Troopers took clothing that Zimmerman was wearing and a dna sample from the victim and sent both to the state police crime lab in Greensburg. Lab results concluded that Zimmerman’s dna was a match to DNA found on the victim. He is charged with rape, sexual assault, statutory rape and corruption of minors. He is in the Cambria Coujnty jail on $250,000 bond.
