Television news reports state that 28 year old Brian Gundersen of State College was sentenced to serve 18 months in a federal lockup for taking part in the January 6th uprising in Washington. Authorities say that Gundersen went to Washngton with his mother, and reportedly joined up with a group of protesters who entered the capitol building. Police also say that Gundersen reportedly wrote on Facebook that he and others may be able to take over the white house. Gundersen admitted on Facebook that he stormed the capitol and tried to take over the government. He will have to pay $2000 in restitution and will be on supervised probation for 3 years after he gets out of prison.
