A news report indicates that federal authorities have arrested Kamal Fataliev, a student from Russia for allegedly having ties to ISIS sympathizers. Fataliev is a student at Penn State Abington, and is said to have been in possession of some 200 manuels related to terrorism and violence related topics. His arrest followed an incident last year in Chicago, where authorities are investigating what they are calling a terror attack. The feds also say that they recovered online posts by Fataliev, that show his support for violence on behalf of ISIS. Fataliev admitted to writing the posts, but claims to have abandoned his radical views. He was indicted this week and is facing 16 years in prison if convicted.
