State police report that the crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon near mile marker 97 on I-80. Police say that 56 year old Debra Philp of Revenna, Ohio was riding on a motorcycle with an unidentified 66 year old man,when the bike hit an oily patch on the highway and spun out of control. Both Philp and the driver were thrown from the bike. The Clearfield County coroner pronounced Philp dead at the scene. The driver was taken to Penn Highlands hospital for his injuries.
