News reports indicate that the 2 suspects were caught stealing items from the Altoona Target store and were apprehended in the parking lot. Police say that Angie Castano Puentes and Jaime Ortiz, both of Queens, were caught trying to steal a cart full of items from the store last Friday. Police say that two other men were with the couple, with one being arrested. He was identified as Edwin Pedro Gomez, while the 4th suspect fled on foot. Target workers were alerted by the State College Target store that the four had stolen items for that store. Puentes and Ortiz are the only two facing charges as of today.
