Television news reports and Pa state police indicate that the accident happened on Friday night at the Union County fair. The reports indicate that a tractor malfunction sent debris flying into a crowd of people. An exhaust wheel apparently shot out from its manifold, with a piece of that wheel striking a woman who was watching the show. Authorities said that the woman was 33 year old, and was from Cambria County, but did not release her identity. Some off duty medical personnel administered help, but the woman was declared dead.
