A report by WJAC indicates that the hazmat team was sent to the White Building for what was called a chemical leak. The reports states that some staff members found a large 15 gallon chemical drum that reportedly contained Muriatic acid was leaking while it was stored inside of the buildings pool room. The pool has not been open at all this summer, so there was no danger to the public, but those inside at this time were evacuated. The alpha hazardous materials unit was on scene and cleaned up the spill. There were no injuries reported, and the white building was re-opened.
