WJAC reported that Dirk Jones waived his hearing yesterday in Cambria County court. Jones is charged with the shooting death of Caleb Beppler outside the Liquid Currency bar back on nune 10th. Cambria County D.A. Greg Neugebauer says that the case still needs some work, and it may take a while longer to get to trial. Jones is accused of firing numerous shots in to a crowd of people at the bar, one of those shots struck Beppler and killed him. A second person was wounded. Police say they still have not found the weapon used in the shooting. Jones is charged with first degree murder, and is awaiting formal arraignment..
