The Altoona Mirror reports that judge Elizabeth Doyle sentenced Gordon Perry to spend 10-20 years in prison for a fight and stabbing from last summer. Perry and the victim both testified that they became embroiled in a fistfight near 18th street and Pleasant Valley Blvd last July, when Perry reportedly brandished a knife and made threats to kill the victim, who was taken to UPMC Altoona for surgery of stab wounds, and has since recovered. Blair county D.A. Pete Weeks said he was pleased with Judge Doyle’s sentence. Perry apologized for his actions in court and said he never meant to hurt anyone.
