One official said that the low numbers suggest how well the economy is doing, and that many Pa residents are working. On the flip side, may businesses say that because of the low number report, they continue to struggle to now find qualified workers because those who are looking may not be qualified to hire. The 3.5% figure matched the nations unemployment rate for July.
