A report by WTAJ indicates that the Small Business Administration has recognized DelGrosso foods as one of the 70th anniversary legacy businesses. The DelGrosso family has been producing pasta and pizza sauce for the past 76 years, and was recognized for that achievement by being one of 68 legacy businesses. The DelGrosso family purchased what was known as Blands Park back in 1946, and turned that into one of the premiere attractions in the region for summertime fun. The sauce recipe can be traced back some 109 years to 1914. The family was recognized at a ceremony yesterday.
