Police report that the accident happened on rt. 322 in Bradford Twp at 2:20 Tuesday afternoon. The report indicates that 19 year old Derraick Burkett of Reynoldsville was traveling along 322 on the Woodland Bigler highway, when he ran a flashing red light on Shiloh road. He collided with a tractor trailer driven by a California man. Burkett’s truck went out of control, crossing all lanes of traffic and burst into flames after hitting a guide rail. Burkett was killed at the scene. The other driver and a passenger in Burkett’s truck were also injured.
