The latest comes in the form of an injunction from a Clearfield County judge, that stated that the city of Dubois is to hold off on making any payments to the former Dubois city manager after his arrest and resignation for the alleged theft of more than $600,000. 3 residents of Dubois filed the request in court after Dubois city council agreed to buy out Suplizio’s remaining contract with the city, which could total more than $250,000. He was charged in march with allegedly stealing $620,000 from the city to use for his personal finances and to gamble. A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
