The search began last week for 26 year old William Dibert of Claysburg. Police say that Dibert is wanted for felony simple assault, along with strangulation, possession of a firearm all coming from an august 21st incident. A woman called for police after she said that Dibert was trying to harm her at her home. She was bleeding and had several bruises when they arrived. The victim told police Dibert threatened to kill her, then strangled her and crushed her cellphone. Police took to the air and ground searching for Dibert, but have been unable to locate him.
