According to a report by WJAC, that could very well happen. The report suggests that a newly created caucus named the Historic Stadium Caucus will convene in Washington, and will discuss possible funding for projects across the country, back in the spring, Penn State announced the first phase of beaver stadium renovations and additions that will cost $70 million. Now some of that funding could be coming from Washington. Economic impact of these stadiums is the reason for the new federal initiative. The entire proposed beaver stadium project is estimated to cost $700 million, and will take several years to complete. The architect and construction company for the project are expected to be announced by Penn State very soon.
