New super for Hollidaysburg

It has been announced officially that Dr, Robert Gildea will be leaving Hollidaysburg to take the same position in the Lower Dauphin Area School District in Dauphin County. Gildea was officially hired by the Lower Dauphin school board this week, and will get a salary of $190,000 a year. Dr. Gildea has worked in the Hollidaysburg school district since 1990 as a teacher, coach, athletic director, principal and superintendent. He has been at the top in Hollidaysburg for the past 10 years. No word on when Gildea will assume his new role. Hollidaysburg will now begin a search for its new superintendent.
