The crowd gathered during the morning hours for a ceremony to honor and remember the 40 passengers and crew who took down the ill fated flight before it could reach Washington, D.C. Beginning at 9:50, families of the victims were greeted, followed by a ceremony and then the reading of all 40 names of the heroes. Also, several dozen flight attendants were among the gathering, with most of them from United Airlines. Flight 93 was the 4th plane to be involved in the events of that fateful day.
