Authorities in Lycoming County say that Max Engle, a defensive end for the Jersey Shore High School football team, collapsed on the field during a game with Selinsgrove last Friday night. No details about Engle’s condition were released, just that he collapsed near the end of the game. He was treated on the field and taken by ambulance to an area hospital. His family is asking for prayers for his safe recovery. In week 2, Mason Martin of Karns City collapsed during a game and was diagnosed with a brain bleed and a collapsed lung.
