Television news indicates that a unidentified 25 year old Penn State student was struck and killed on Tuesday after she was hit by another student. Police say that the accident happened on the 200 block of east park avenue. Authorities say that the driver crossed over into the opposite lane of the road and struck the student who was jogging. The victim was transported to UPMC Altonna, where she died from her injuries. Police say that drugs and alcohol were not factors in this tragedy, and the investigation continues.
