The Altoona Mirror is reporting that Judge Wade Kagarise ruled that each side in the Raymond Oechsle case has the 90 day window to prepare all challenges for argument before him. Oechsle is accused of stabbing 38 year old Christopher Helsel to death inside his 8th avenue apartment, then living with Helsel’s body for 3 days. The district attorney is seeking the death penalty, while Oechsle now has 2 attorneys working on his behalf. Helsel’s body was found on April 26th after police responded to a burglary call. Oeschle reportedly admitted to police that he killed Helsel.
