WTAJ reports that the Blair County sheriff’s dept arrested 50 year old John Chathams after they tried to stop him for an outstanding warrant. Chathams was pulled over on plank road in Alleghey Twp Tuesday, but took off before deputies could confront him. The chase ended a short time later, when he ran on to a dead end road and fled on foot. Chathams stopped after deputies warned that they would turn a K-9 officer loose in order to catch him. He is charged with fleeing, eluding and escape and other traffic violations. Bail was set at $25,000.
