Television news reports indicate that police arrested 30 year old Benjamin Brower Jr. Was taken in to custody after it was reported that he taped a razor blade to a hand railing that led into a church last Sunday. The reports indicate that police say Brower was discovered on video surveillance at 3 Sunday afternoon going into the salvation army church on 6th avenue. The leader of the church reported he saw Brower tape the blade to a hand rail and took it off before anyone was injured. The church was set to open its kitchen at 4:30. Brower was charged with vandalism, attempted aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, trespassing and harassment.
