A television news report indicates the owner of the mall said that the former Sears store in the mall, once one of he anchor stores was sold, and the owner of that space wants to put in a storage facility. The owner, Leo Karruli says he does not want a storage facility in his building. A mall employee said that a storage facility might not be best for the mall, just because of the amount of foot traffic alone. Karruli has been working to bring business back into the mall, to continue getting shoppers to the facility. The report did not state who sold the sears store, or if it was part of Karruli’s ownership of the building.
