Television news reports indicate that Dave McCormick has announced another run on the Republican side for the Senate seat currently occupied by Democrat Sen. Bob Casey Jr. McCormick ran unsuccessfully last year in the republican primary, and lost to eventual nominee Dr. Mehmet Oz, who lost to John Fetterman. Democrats wasted little time in attacking Mccormick after his announcement. Saying they will tout him as an outsider, who is very rich and is looking out for his rich friends. McCormick has a residence in Pittsburgh, but still lives in Connecticut. He is the first republican to announce a candidacy to try and defeat the 3 term Senator Casey.
