In a report by WTAJ, officials at the Blair County Convention Center yesterday introduced an app called “The Columbia Protocol App” was unveiled to the general public. The purpose of the app is to help people who think about suicide to go through a series of critical questions to see if they are at risk. The app was created by P.S. Solutions of Altoona. Information collected will then be stored to determine if any particular areas are more prone to mental health issues. The developers of the app say it is very easy to use and to navigate. The App is free for all to use on their smartphones.
