Television news reports indicate that the accident occurred along Cove Mt. Road in North Woodbury Twp around 2:45 yesterday afternoon. No details of the crash were available, except to say that 2 people involved were taken to UPMC Altoona for treatment of serious injuries. The horse was put down because of the injuries it sustained in the crash. The driver of the box truck was not injured. No word on what caused the crash. Cove Mt. Road was closed for several hours before being re-opened.
