News reports indicate that police and the coroners office have identified the remains of Jedediah Rawlings of Alexandria. His remains were discovered on September 21st, in Morris Twp. The reports say that Rawlings was a man who fled from state police back in January after he failed to stop for a traffic violation. A chase ensued, and Rawlings reportedly got out of his car in a parking lot and threatened officers with knives. His car was found later, but Rawlings had disappeared. He was identified by the clothes that were located, which matched a description of those he was wearing the night he vanished. Cause of death has not been determined.
