News reports indicate that the owner of Delta 8 store, Mike DeAngelo has closed the doors of the store after his arrest for allegedly selling narcotics. DeAngelo was arrested earlier this year after an undercover operation allegedly revealed the store was selling illegal hemp based products. Blair D.A. Pete weeks said that some of the products taken from DeAngelo’s store contained higher amounts of THC that was above the legal limit. Deangelo says law enforcement is misreading the law about hemp, and says that his products fell under the guidelines of the state farm bill, which regulates how much hemp can be in product.
