According to an Altoona Mirror report, a judge re-sentenced Heather Schade to 3-6 years in prison for her part in the killing of Gary Shriver several years ago, she was set free after her re-sentencing. Judge Travis Livengood re-sentenced Schade yesterday, and because she had been behind bars since 2017, she was given credit for time served, and was set free. Schade’s original sentence was 8-22 years after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit third degree murder. The sentenced was shortened after the court reviewed petitions stating Schade’s actual part in the crime, and that her original counsel was deemed ineffective.
