According to a report by WJAC, authorities were called out to the scene along Dunnings Highway near Herman Lane in Freedom Twp shortly before 11 am. According to Blair County Coroner Patty Ross, 67 year old Dennis Maurer of Claysburg was killed as a result of the crash. The crash closed down the highway for several hours yesterday. The crash involved a motorcycle and a second vehicle, but no further details were made public. Freedom Twp Police are handling the investigation.
