In a news report by WTAJ, the attorney general’s office says that a lawsuit has been filed against 25 year old David Gaida for reportedly selling cars that were not road worthy. The suit claims that Gaida was selling used cars on the Facebook marketplace, and many of them needed major repairs. He sold the vehicles under the title “David’s Auto Sales”, and was not licensed to do so. Authorities claim that Gaida did not file paperwork on any of the vehilces, failed to provide customers and PennDot with paperwork, and he illegally repossesed the cars. He is facing a list of payback scenarios that he will have to abide by including paying restitution, canceling all agreements to purchase a car, and pay civil penalties.
