A report by WJAC indicates that Alec Rhoads was sentenced to serve 15 months to 5 years in state prison after he entered a no contest plea to charges against him. Rhoads was charged with killing 53 year old Daren Lingenfelter after hitting him with a crossbow in the neck. The incident took place in Liberty Twp in May of 2021. Rhoads pleaded no contest to a single count of involuntary manslaughter last week.
