A judge ruled yesterday that the city no longer has to pay Suplizio his salary for his contract. Suplizio is facing numerous charges of allegedly stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from Dubois city accounts while he was city manager. He was suspended from his position, but continued to receive his salary, until yesterday. The ruling will also affect Suplizio’s access to his pension, which he cannot receive. Three residents who are running for Dubois elected offices, filed a petition in August to halt payments to Suplizio while he is under arrest for the theft charges. He was hit with a new batch of charges last month by the Attorney General of Pa.
