A report in the Altoona Mirror indicates that police arrested 41 year old Joshua Winslow after he tried to make good on a verbal promise to burn down the building on the 2700 block of Walnut Avenue Thursday morning. Police report that Winslow apparently got into a verbal argument with a woman, when he got a roll of paper towels, lit them on fire, the tried to accelerate the blaze with chemicals. The woman stomped out the fire while calling 911. Winslow is charged with reckless endangerment, causing or risking a catastrophe, making terroristic threats and public drunkenness. He is currently housed in the Blair County jail.
