News reports indicate that the Waffle Shop located on East College avenue opened its doors on sunday following its closing in October. Several fire dept’s were called to the scene back on October 10th, after a Penn State student noticed smoke coming from the building. The restaurant sustained heavy smoke damage and had to close. No injuries were reported. The store has its regular hours back on the schedule.
