Blair County Election 2023 Results

Blair County’s 2023 Voter turnout was just over 32% of registered voters (32.25) and included a rare No vote in a Judicial Retention for Elizabeth Doyle in Common Pleas. This came after an organized citizens campaign against her retention. The other Judge up for retention, Wade Kagarise, who was not challenged, was kept by a wide majority.
In other races, Incumbent Republican Amy Webster will have a second term as County Commissioner. Newcomer Dave Kessiling had the highest total. Incumbent Democrat Laura Burke was re-elected, leaving Carol Taylor last in the race.
Incumbent Mayor Matt Pacifico returns for final term, winning over Democrat challenger Bryant Giselman.
Top voter-getters for Altoona City Council were Jesse Ickes and newcomer Shelly Clinich.
Winning in the Antis Township Supervisor race were Republican George Bell and Benjamin Horberger. Hornberger ran as an Independent after failing to get on the Republican primary ballot

In school Board Races, the winners in Altoona were Bob Pacifico, John Romanowicz, Mike Pappas, Justin MacCaulley and Christopher Cook
Hollidaysburg: John Wells, Missy Sullivan, Michelle Luther, Kenneth Snyder and Ying Li,
Tyrone: Jeff Long, William Lash, Brian Bressler, former Superintendent and former Business Manager Cathy Lynn Harlow and James Brokenshire
Spring Cove: Gretchen Stern Bettwy, Andrea Moses, Misti Fisher, Kevin Smith and Troy Wright
