Voters in Blair County yesterday elected David Consiglio and Fred Miller to the bench, replacing retired judges Tim Sullivan and Dan Milliron. They were the only two candidates on the ballot. Judge Wade Kagarise won a 10 year retention vote by a wide margin, but the most shocking news came for Judge Elizabeth Doyle. With unofficial results in, Blair County voters voted to reject another 10 year term for Doyle. She will become the third judge in Blair County history not to be retained by voters. Bruce Brumbaugh and Norm Callan were the first two. Judge Doyle lost on the retention vote by 770 votes. The numbers are not expected to be verified until Friday.
