News reports indicate that police have charged 37 year old Roberta Ewing with having dead dogs and cats inside her Tyrone home, along with looking after children in the home. Witnesses told police that there was at least 1 dead dog and 1 dead cat, along with feces and trash strewn all over the house, and the entire structure was in deplorable condition. Police reported that there were children inside the home when they responded to an unrelated call the day before the dead animals were discovered. Ewing is charged with child endangerment and animal cruelty, and is locked up in the blair county jail.
