According to a television news report, police have charged 40 year old James Dunmeyer of NYC, and 35 year old Cory Davis of Brooklyn of trying to cash forged checks at Kish banks in Centre County. Police were tipped off by Mifflintown police when the men and a woman, Arabia Onyesonwu passed bad checks in Lewistown. Dunmeyer and Davis were both caught at a Kish Bank on South Allen street and Green Tech Drive on Sept 22 trying to pass off forged checks. Davis and Dunmeyer are locked up in the Mifflin County jail, charged with fraud, forgery, conspiracy, theft by deception and receiving stolen property. Charges were not filed against Onyesonwu.
