News reports indicate that Altoona Police charged 31 year old Chenault Smmers when they were sent out on a burglary complaint. Officers arrived at the scene on the 1100 block of 13th avenue Tuesday night around 11, when they found summers allegedly sitting on a man who was on a couch. She was told to get up from the couch, but refused, and said if she did, she was going to burn the officers with a cigarette, and burn down the building. She resisted arrest, and assaulted officers by kicking them and spitting in their faces. She was treated at UPMC, then charged with aggravated assault, assaulting law enforcement, resisting arrest and obstruction. She is in the Blair County jail this morning.
