According to a report by WTAJ, the group says it feels that the money going to Operation Our Town is not being used properly, and wants to know who is using the funds, and where does the money go, and who is in charge. The report indicated that bank account at First National Bank was listed under the County of Blair, office of District Attorney. Andrae Holsey of the NAACP says the money is not going in to the county’s general fund, which is what the group is claiming should happen. County Controller A.C. Stickel told WTAJ that the account is unfamiliar to him, and is not related to the county employer identification number. The group says that it discovered some $300,000 worth of checks have been deposited into this mysterious account
