According to television news reports, police have charged 47 year old Jonathan Lowell of Altoona with trying to injure his roommate with a piece of wood. Police reported that the two men became involved in an argument at Lowell’s home last Friday, when Lowell allegedly took a piece of wood that contained rusty nails and tried to hit the victim. Police said that Lowell had threatened to kill his roommate and that other people would kill him. Lowell was charged with aggravated and simple assault, making terroristic threats and harassment. He is in the Blair County jail on $100,000 bond.
