Commonwealth residents can order more free COVID-19 tests from the federal government. COVID Tests dot gov is offering those who already ordered their four free tests from the website earlier this fall an additional four tests. Those who haven’t ordered any tests since the website relaunched can order eight tests. The Department of Health and Human Services says insurance companies are no longer required to cover COVID tests after the public health emergency ended last spring.
