Pennsylvania’s deer-rifle season begins tomorrow. The statewide regular firearms deer season for both buck and doe runs from Nov. 25th thru Dec. 9th. Legal hunting hours are one-half hour before sunrise and one-half hour after sunset. The Game Commission is also monitoring Chronic Wasting disease throughout the state. There are Disease Management Areas where deer have tested positive for the fatal neurological disease. The Game Commission is encouraging hunters to have their deer heads tested for the disease.
