It’s Black Friday and area residents will be among the 72-percent of American holiday shoppers expected to do at least some of their gift-shopping today. Many Retailers are offering deals today and throughout the weekend. Still, retail experts are expecting a tamer holiday shopping season due to inflation. According to estimates from the National Retail Federation, the average shopper will spend about 875 dollars in total, on gifts, decorations, food, and other holiday items this year.
