A former federal prosecutor wants to to become Pennsylvania’s next attorney general. State officials say Republican Katayoun “Kat” Copeland recently stepped down from her post with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia before announcing her candidacy. Previous to that posting, the 56 year old Copeland also served as a prosecutor for Delaware County in suburban Philadelphia, and later served as that county’s court-appointed district attorney.
