An alleged gunman in the suspected bias attack shooting of three Palestinian college students in Vermont, has been arrested and identified as 48 year old Jason Easton. Authorities say Easton was taken into custody yesterday morning. He lives near the area where the three shootings occurred. Shot were three Palestinian students, one of whom attends Haverford College, just outside Philadelphia. They were shot and injured while visiting a home in Burlington, Vermont over the holiday weekend. Authorities say two of the men are in stable condition and the other suffered more serious injuries. The three were visiting a home of one of the victim’s relatives and were walking when they were allegedly confronted by Easton. Police are probing whether the shooting was a hate crime in light of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
