According to TV news reports, police say that a good samaritan intervened in the assault in the parking lot of KED Plasma located on 6th avenue and 59th street last Wednesday night around 7. The report states that 27 year old Ian Carr and the unidentified victim were going to donate blood, when they got into an argument. The woman claims that Carr began to beat her in the parking lot, and a witness saw the altercation and stepped in. The witness said that Carr stopped at that moment, and the woman got out of the car. Carr is charged with felony charges including aggravated assault, robbery, strangulation and intimidating a witness. He is locked up in the Blair County jail.
